The next 'Pin Up Nights' will be held downstairs in Blackfriars in the Merchant City, Glasgow on 12 September from 8pm till 1am.

Pin Up nights is by far the best night in Scotland for new music, classic indie and PLENTY OF MOZ.

Its held on the second Friday of every month and previous months have seen the likes of Jack The Ripper and National Front Disco being given a spin.

This month I can gurantee a heady dose of Moz, as I personally shall be DJing in a guest slot. I was thinking of playing 'Dagenham Dave' and a few others as well as a good mix of Ballboy, Cinerama, Libertines, Pulp etc etc etc but I'm open to suggestions.

I appreciate dagenham Dave may not be an obvious choice, but I got thinking how normally at an indie nightclub you get stuff like 'Panic' etc and how pleased I would be if I was just standing at the bar and suddenly Dagenham Dave came bursting on....

Look forward to seeing you there. Come early as the tunes are quality from the very start.

Oh and the Pin Up Nights badge you get on the night, gets you into Barfly for £2 afterwards!!!

Sounds good Stan. Did you ever go to the NPL nights ?

Been to quite a few of the NPL nights although I was gutted to miss the Smiths special. Only get to the occasional one now though since I live down south but they are always top class events. The photo on my profile was taken at the christmas NPL...

Hope to see you at Blackfriars next Friday, come and say hello - I expect to see you dancing to Dagenham Dave....
