I shall stick it in the diary.. The Metro Club is well good.. Dark secluded basements are just my thing. And it's just after the RFH as well!

If I may suggest... if you want a indie/punk/newwave/rock covers band to play, I'm the man to see!!

I might just hold you to that, I only had the idea of doing this the other night when I was out in Reading.

I'm going to do a sing-a-long-a-smiths!

Do you do punk covers of 'Paranoid' and 'The Ace of Spades' then Ruff? I think it may be worth the trip down to London for that

Oh Johnny you tease... You know they're not AC/DC covers// stop pretending. Or I'll revela your fetish for Charles Aznavour.

I stand by the fact the Aussie rockers classics, 'Sin city', 'Live wire', 'Jailbreak' are great rock n'roll songs..

Knowing your history, I'm a wee bit perturbed by the 'rock' bit, Ruff. Can you give us some examples?

'Rock' categorised covers would may be... 'Virginia Plain', 'Hard to Handle', 'you really got me' and that's about it!! Maybe an attempt at 'Stay With Me' Rod stewart (when he was good)

Must go out drinking now!!

Re: "Everday Is Like Sunday" Sorry NO AC/DC!

Strictly Smiths and Morrissey.
Anyone who asks for AC/DC will be shown the door, I had enough of the Swiss asking me for daft stuff when I did an indie night over there.

well, it would have been amusing,..I mean, amazing, to hear Ruff doin his thang, Aly, but you're right of course. Let's just keep it Moz and Smiths.

I appreciate that 'pop' is a nasty word in your heavy metal circles, Ruff, but 'Virginia Plain' is great pop.
Admittedly, most chart stuff and most glamrock got pop a bad name in the pre-punk days, but there were instances of great pop. And that was one of them.
'You Really Got Me' is also - HIDE YOUR EYES,RUFF!!!- pop!

'Hard To Handle' ?? I could google it but I can't be arsed. What's that one, Ruff? I don't know it.
