Just to further qualify my statements from last night regarding Redondo Beach.
I used to love Reggae Music & listened to it constantly for many years, building up a huge collection of albums & 12" singles, most of them imports.
I still enjoy hearing some of those records occasionally, but purely out of nostalgia, as I sold my entire collection & many of thoose tracks I'll never hear again.
While my attitude towards Redondo has thawed slightly after repeated plays, I still consider it the very worst thing he's ever recorded by a country mile.
Still, as the two new songs & the live 'Hard to Walk Tall' were fantastic, particularly I'm Playing Easy To Get, it would be churlish of me to continue to quibble about, what is only after all, a cover version.
