back spasms

What exactly are back spasms? They sound bad. What causes them? Are they serious? are they chronic? Do they recurr a lot? Are they life-threatening? Is it the sort of thing you can get over in 24 hours? How do you treat back spasms, anyway? in other words, is Alain's bad back going to f*ck the whole tour? Get well soon, Alain! (and I do mean that).

i dunno... but he did look in pain at the SB concert. I took a photo of him as he was leaving to his bus and he declined to give an autograph because he was in alot of pain. The photo later developed shows a look of pain upon his face. I felt bad for him. He really was terribly nice.
