Douglas Coupland's modern classic tells the story of a group of college friends whose lives are derailed when one of them slips into a coma. But that's nothing to what happens twenty years later when she wakes up and now she has a message for the world...

My little brother found out that Comcast On Demand is broadcasting an Smiths concert @ Rockpalast. They don't mention the date but by listening to the songs I would say is late 1984. It's a really cool show. Just access the On Demand menu and then MUSIC and then CONCERT TV and NEVER BEFORE SEEN. Voila! Viva Moz!

Girl in a Coma playing Hollywood (Feb. 21)

Morrissey tour openers Girl in a Coma are playing the Knitting Factory Thursday, February 21st. Fresh off their tour with Moz, the girls are hitting Hollywood as part of their month-long headlining tour in support of their new record. Moz has been spotted at previous Girl in a Coma shows, and in December was seen enjoying a punk-rock show from the Knitting Factory balcony. Rumor is his band will be there Thursday night..so odds are Moz may show up himself!

Greatest Hits - US release date [updated]
posted by davidt on Tuesday February 19 2008, @11:00AM

MOZ310 writes:
I don't know if this is well known, but I was on Amazon.com and it shows the US release dates for the new single on 2/20/08 and the new greatest hits album on 3/25/08

Update: 02/20 01:29 GMT: Stephane posted in the comments:

The single is not being released in the USA, well at least not at this point in time. Amazon.com only lists the import, and if you buy it now you will receive it before February 20th. The person who sent in the info got confused thinking that date was the release date.

How do you feel about Morrissey dropping the F-bomb during his recent concert in Hamburg, Germany? (suggested by Ken Stavitzke)
I support Morrissey's response
Morrissey could have replied differently
I am undecided
I don't care
