It's by Swedish band Boys, and it's called A New Girl Born.
As for You Are The Quarry, it's in the sense of someone being hunted.

The song I am listening to is definitely Morrissey singing, did he cover their version? I tried to download "I Have Forgiven Jesus" but got this other Morrissey song which I really like, but don't know what it is.
Other lines in the song are: "The world is full of crashing bores" and "her broken heart has opened her eyes." Is it definitely this "A New Girl Born" song?

Thanks

For the Xth time, this is not Moz. If you like I can point you in the direction of the folk who made this song.

Actually it was just the 2nd.

I still think the song is Morrissey .

It's not actually.....I admit it's a good impression, the tone as well as the lyrics are impersonating his style close to perfect. But it really is not him.

Now that I have listened to this song for the 100th time today I realize that it's not Morrissey but an amazing sound-alike. Still a great song - wish it was him. They also say crashing bore in the song which is why I was convinced it was him. I had never heard this expression before seeing him Sat nite at the Apollo.
