Anyone know the proper meaning of O'Muirgheasa (i.e. Morrissey as Gaeilge )

On the net it's inconconclusive:
"sea choice",
"skilled seafarer",
"dark and swarthy".

Blunt amalgamation yields :
"Swarthy, skilled seafarer by choice"

I guess it sums up the man himself somewhat.
He guides his own currach through the murkiest of waters quite skillfully.
