here's my contribution to the fanzine "A Chance to Shite"

Forget about trying to interpret the meaning of "you are the quarry" (i.e. who is the quarry and what is a quarry etc".

It all stems back to the Royal Albert Hall, September 2003, in which a photo exists of julia wryley in the front row of the audience. Behind Miss Julia, is a picture of a certain Irish girl with a "Morrissey doll" which she offers to our Dear Hero.

Morrissey eyes light up in delight as he proclaims "Hurray, A Queer Toy!"

And if you rearrange the letter of "Hurray, A Queer Toy"... what do you get?

Coincidence? I think not...

(This would have been so much easier if I could have posted the pic, but that pleasure has been taken from us) bah humbug.
