Robbie absolutely adores Morrissey. There is another article somewhere that goes more into it, though I don't remember where or what.

At one point, Robbie tells the interviewer he'd like to stick speakers in his window when the paparazzi hang around outside his house... "Why do you come here..."

Morrissey's dished every single artist I like, I swear. He hates the Cocteau Twins, and said that the nicest thing he could say about Kate Bush was that he couldn't stand her, or something to that extent. I'm not a fan of Kate Bush, but I'm a huge fan of Tori Amos, and they're embarassingly similar...

I think Morrissey pretty much only likes male singers in makeup and dresses...

There ARE similarities. The self-pitying lyrics, the persecution complex, the sometimes-limited musical backing. Robbie even looks a bit like Moz when he has a quiff-do.

However, the difference is that Robbie Williams is f***in' awful. It was bad enough when he was watering down Oasis riffs, now his musics like a bland Elton John. Robbie Williams is a knob, the worst example of Celeb-Pop.

LOL....I have always described him over the years too as, ex Take That....nothing more, nothing less. Much to the annoyance of friends and work colleagues who quite like him. Great way to wind them up!

100% AGREED...Blobby Williams is a fat, talentless dancer from Take That, nothing more and lots less!....He DOESN'T have the intellict to produce anything near to Morrissey's lyrical skills.

It's quite funny actually because Morrissey's fan base will just hate him more and see through his one dimentional approach!
