Moz's cologne?

We managed to get a bit of one of Morrissey's shirts on Nov. 11th (after fighting Vincent Gallo, for it. Seriously!), and the cologne that lingers on it is just heavenly. Does anyone know what Morrissey wears? My boyfriend wants a bottle of it, whatever it is!

P.S. Yep, it was the shirt of the evening that made it down his trousers! But it didn't smell like sweat, from his nether regions or otherwise. Just that great cologne!

Old Spice version 2

Wrong, that's not it.

It's "By" by Dolce & Gabbana.

isnt it Helmut Lang?

Well, one person that used to visit this site met Morrissey, and she said he smelled like fabric softener! Snuggles, anyone? Seriously, though I thought he wore something by Hermes.

Hmmm, I don't know, we'll do some cologne sniffin' at the suspect counters

Hmmm, we'll have to check out Hermes too. Maybe he wears various things--I do! Nancy Sinatra says he smells good not in a cologne-y way, but in a soapy way.

Haaa, and how! Why Gallo is a conservative Republican mystifies me!

Wouldn't he wear something a bit more...swanky?

(a question--this is the first time I've posted on this board...what are my reponses to responses showing up as topics on the main discussion board as well as in the thread where they belong? Do they always do that?)

Re: Jenny - does it smell like lavender?

Sadly, I've never gotten that close to The Man -- or his discarded clothing -- but people who have say he smells like lavender.

Re: Jenny - does it smell like lavender?

There might be some undernote of lavender, I'd have to go sniff again, but it was definitely an expensive-smelling cologne with numerous notes, not just lavender.

Re: Jenny - does it smell like lavender?

I'd say it was spicy, but with citrus too, it had a hint of woodieness and was very fresh, it also had a hint of lavender and a hint of leather. Very Oriental.
I checked out "D&G By" before, and it's not really like it.
People in the past have said its...

Uomo... No
D&G... No
Helmut Lang... No
John paul gautier... No
Comme Des Garcons... No
Old Spice 2... No

The closest i've got to it is Opium by Yves st laurent, although this still doesn't have the woodieness of the one from his shirt in Liverpool.

You would think I have better things to do than find out what Morrissey's cologne is but its bugging me so much. I need to know what it is!!!
ANY SUGGESTIONS???? ANYBODY???
