I have a soft spot for "Tomorrow", i think Morrissey looks fine as do the band.
Dagenham Dave is a fav too, but can anyone like the video to "November spawned a monster", the apple bit, sniffing chocolate, swinging off trees, was moz on drugs.

'November' is my favourite one

I love "November" as well, but my very favorite is "Ouija Board"...Moz sprawled on the forest floor...a surreal but lovely video. Also, "Everday Is Like Sunday"- wonder whatever happened to the girl in that video?

I just watched November spawned a monster for the first time...umm was Moz on acid?

if an alien from outer space came down and asked me what 'gay' was, i would probably put on the video for 'november'...

Very clever. You probably saw the episode of Beavis & Butthead years ago when they play "November" and Beavis says, "What's he doing, humping that rock?"

Not a fan of November, as Morrissey kinda freaks me out in that one.

Boxers is a great video, although not quite enough Moz. But the few snippets they show of him, particularly when he's shaking Sunny's hand after the bout, are real classy.

Tomorrow is another excellent one, as is Seasick.

"Tomorrow" is a great one- unfortunately, I've never seen the "Seasick" video.

Really? You should consider acquiring the Oye Esteban DVD, as it has that video, plus pretty much all of his other solo vids. You already know this, I'm sure...

It might be out on Soulseek somewhere too, although Moz fans generally seem a bit better about not pirating his wares, preferring to support the artist by buying his stuff.

It's a very sombre video, alternating between heavily shadowed shots of a singularly depressed Morrissey against a plain, shadowed background singing, then switching to these old-style home-shot grainy black and white videos of a happy family at a family picnic with little kids running around during the instrumental passages between each stanza. Rather poignant, really.

Cheers,

It's so true. The amazing thing is to view the November... video, and then immediately after watch the "Introducing Morrissey" film. It's like two totally different people, and I'll make no bones about how much more I prefer the stately and unspeakably handsome hetero gentleman in the sport coat and jeans of the latter over the spandex- and lycra-wearing, rock-humping, and homosexually-swaying Bizarromoz of the former.

LOL, I think "November" is actually rather good. Surreal, but good. Who CARES about his sexuality?

J.T. - well, I do own all of the videos, but unfortunately don't own a DVD player yet. When I do finally, I'll try and locate "Oye Esteban". Your description of "Seasick" sounds very interesting; I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the summary of it. cheers- Col
