I have seen you at Morrissey's 40th birthday party in SF, also at his recent concert at Maritime Hall. If anyone out there knows who I am talking about please relay this message. I would like to proposition him about a party I am having. Please e-mail me.

Isn't it Jose from the Sweet and Tender Hooligans? He always wears the shiny shirt? He's been on here before.

Im not sure if im doing this right or not but the "Morrissey Look alike" in San Franciso is my friend.... Im not really sure if he wants me giving his name out over the internet so ill ask him tonight and get back to you tomorrow... He's really cool though so if you live anywhere near San Jose im sure hell enjoy hearing from you.... give me an e-mail ...See ya

ha.. no. The Blarney Stone had a cool DJ couple who are on this list sometimes, who mixed very well, and people sat around and talked, and the 6 or 7 regular Irish old guys sat and wondered who all these young hooligans who were invading their neighborhood bar were. That Jose impersonator guy wore his shiny shirt and got up on the little stage thing and sort of danced and lip synched for a bit. I drank two Guinnesses, was happy that they didn't card me (I didn't look 20 I guess), and then I left. It was fun, but more crowded and louder music and darker atmosphere would be better for next time. I heard the real Morrissey drove by his "40th Bday Party" at the fabulous whatever theater in LA. :p

How cool, I live is San Jose! Unfortunately I don't think I know who your friend is.

Ha! Dude, where have you been? Welcome back from your nap! Yes it's known he lives in L.A., but if any of us knew exactly where, don't you think suzanne would have scaled the walls and stabbed him by now? Actually, I recall some person saying they know where his house is, and they hung out there or something, but of course they wouldn't divulge even a crosstreet..
 
I know I am from LA, and a pretty big fan, and didn't know he was living in LA until a few weeks ago... I was stunned!
LA is a big place so I was wondering what city he was in
I heard rumors but nothing solid...

And how would you know for SURE, unless you saw him going into his house or something. We have a lot of clues as to his address, but it is more difficult to find than you might think.
I haven't any interest in stalking his house. It's merely a quest for knowledge.
Don't you believe me?

We've been given many clues by Moz himself. such as, It's the house Clark Gable designed for Carole Lombard, but then she died; she "didn't even have time to pick out the curtains". And then he said that F. Scott Fitzgerald lived there later on. But if Gable designed the house for Lombard, that means that it was built for Lombard shortly before her death in 1942. But F. Scott Fitzgerald died in 1940! So how did he own it after Gable & Lombard? And there are many other inconsistencies with what Morrissey claims to be the history of his house. Either he is intentionally throwing about this information to confuse us (or just for the hell of it), or he was greatly misinformed by the real estate agent, who probably appealed to his fascination of old Hollywood just to get him to buy the house. Who knows more??

Well the Clark Gable estates are in Sherman Oaks, my girlfriend grew up down the street from his old house... But for some reason I can't picture Morrissey living in the Valley...

Yes, nearby. Gable & Lombard lived in Encino, and so did F.Scott Fitzgerald--however the address is no longer there--it would now be on the 101 freeway. There is another address in Encino, as well. But Moz is also supposed to live near sunset Blvd. See what I mean? Inconsistencies!

Yes you are right it was Encino, very close Sherman Oaks...
But the Main house is still there, all the neighboring homes are new, there is even a home in that area that was converted from a stable house...
