Funny you mention the "calling in sick" voice. I was wondering the same thing, not that I actually heard the interview, as I am on the east Coast, but that would be funny. Maybe he just hadn't fully woken up yet?

maybe. unless he's a good actor. i didnt recognize him at first. thats how bad it was. and he kept pausing. he must be real bad. and yes, i agree, i wonder how he can predict his health that far ahead when he will be busy touring all this time. dang. halloween! and same venue. eeek! and its mighty chilly that time of the year. poor morrissey. poor us!
