Weren't you paying attention? It's because she's in love with Mickey and wanted to stop Ross shopping him to the DSS.

That scene with her and Ross had to be the grossest/funniest things I've seen this year. However, I thing it's losing it's edge. It just wasn't the same and Pauline wasn't as well acted as S1 & 2. Still, I have hope.
