A quick questionnaire for Smith's fans

1) What do you like/dislike about the way Morrissey or the smiths portray
himself/themselves?

I like the fact that they portray themselves in a way that is unique and their own. They didn't seem to care too much about styles and trends.

2) How genuine do you think this image is - for example, was wearing the
hearing aid and sporting the quiff etc aimed to catch the interest of
youths so they would follow a new trend?

See my answer to Q.1. I think he/they did it because no one else really did.

3) Have you ever dressed the way Morrissey did? If so, what elements of
his style did you replicate and why.

Yes. But, if you buy pretty much ANY Smiths shirt, you are pretty much copying what Morrissey wore.

4) Did the 'Meat is Murder' album and Morrissey's views on animal rights
infuence you at all? If so, in what ways.

No way whatsoever. I had Pork Chops for dinner, and it was suclant, tasty, and VERY KIND.

5) What do you think it is about Morrissey's image that was so appealing
to youths?

He's the pimp of pimps. Yet, he's a fruitcake. It's weird. He's cool because he doesn't care about what others think (unless your name is Johnny Marr).

Seeing as you haven't gotten a rise out of me in, oh, about 6 months (at least), I'd say I'm not terribly easy to mess with. By the way, I only have one chin. That's clear from the number of pictures I've posted over the last year I've been a regular on this site. How many pictures of yourself have you posted?
