Morrissey Central "Roll On 2023" (December 23, 2022)

Any truth to this? Apparently it was listed on IIP-DDS today. Could be just another wind up, mind, but since Rebels is still on streaming and not credited to Capitol then anything’s possible.

Morrissey Central “REBELS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE” (December 22, 2022)

Who are “K, C and H”? Is this from another new interview? So many questions!

Morrissey Central “REBELS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE” (December 22, 2022)

https://www.morrisseycentral.com/messagesfrommorrissey/rebels-without-assistance "It's been quite sad. The absence of any promotion is noticeable. It's devastating how no one can ever get this right. But they can't, or they won't. Radio stations, as far as I can tell, will play just about...

Morrissey Central "The Gang's All gone" (December 12, 2022)

https://www.morrisseycentral.com/messagesfrommorrissey/the-gang-s-all-gone The second photo reads:- Morrissey London Brixton 02 Academy 11/10/22 The penultimate date on his UK tour was an outstanding mix of classics and new material. Prefaced by an eclectic pre-show video, the show began...

NME: "Iggy Pop: “I assumed things would quiet down once I turned 65. That hasn’t been the case”" - Morrissey mentions (December 2, 2022)

Seems to be confirmed indirectly that Iggy’s featuring on “Ha Ha Harlem”. He describes the bassline: “There was a lot of mystique to the track. I loved the track it had a lot of life to it. There was something really unusual he’d done with the bassline,” Pop added of the Morrissey song. “With...

Rebels Without Applause released as a single track - initially on some region's YT, now to buy & stream (November 24, 2022)

The fact that the central IG post doesn't mention any of the instant grats from Dog - instead saying that this is the first single since "It's Over" - makes me think that there's hope for a proper physical release. Sidenote, it seems pertinent that Britain is mentioned by name in the story -...

Rebels Without Applause released as a single track - initially on some region's YT, now to buy & stream (November 24, 2022)

I hope there’s going to be more promotion in the coming days for the single. Without this site and a few other select sources, I wouldn’t have know it had dropped at all.

If anyone wants a different single cover… 😉 (made by me). Song sounds great, especially the instrumentation. Looking forward to seeing why it was released in the first place, though, considering all the drama in the last few weeks….

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

Well, it really depends on the price, doesn’t it? Plus, I wrote that just after the whole Uk situation was announced: now I’ve realised it’s most likely going to be on streaming, my initial knee jerk worries have been alleviated slightly. Thanks for your insight anyway.

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

Judging by the original announcements, at the very least the covers are going to be different (and worse). And iirc the Southpaw tracklisting was the same as rhe 2009 version, but the Quarry one was the same as the original.

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

I think it’s likely that it’ll be available on streaming in all countries (or at least I’m hoping it will be). Anything can happen between now and February, so who knows about the UK situation.

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

I’m hoping those are going to actually come out this time, considering most of them were announced a couple of years ago. Iirc there was some cover and label art for them but that’s all we heard about them.

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

As long as the price isn't too hefty, that'll have to be the way to go!

Fantastic news…except the UK thing (very unfortunate for me). Looks like it’ll be time to bootleg in February, unless something happens in between.
