    Well there is no need to use the MIC IN, and most if not all tapers suggest not to. The reason is that the majority of recorders have a shitty pre-amp which can lead to more distortion. If your Microphone has its own power via an external battery then there is no need for a pre-amp. If I may...

    had simular problems a year ago. The only workaround is to play the DVD in your standalone player and re-transfer it to DVD. It will add an analog generation but it will work and save your efforts. Hope this helps! Cheers!

    no problem, I think its a great concert recording just the audio needed some work done. Over on Smithstorrents I was going to seed the fixed version of this DVD as the audio is bit out of synch as well. I don't want to step on any toes if you are to seed as well. Let me know :cool:
