Just Guessing about Julia...

I openly admit I have never seen her, nor have I ever spoken or written her, but I get bad vibes all around from her and for her. She is a buddhist, but I have heard what she tells people about buddhism, and it doesn't seem like she is knowledgeable about the same buddhism that interests me at all...

She somehow gets herself into the first spot in line by befriending those that have been there (a rumor, none-the-less, I am sure it could be true). She is small, and when she is in 'the pit' Morrissey at least once during all the shows I attended asked if she was alright- I am sure it is recognition as well as the fact that she is so small, and it is so hard to stay in that front area the whole show. But as far as I know, she maganages to do it. Then she proceeds to stand out in front of almost every venue after it is over and pitch her fanzine- which is perfectly respectable. I am a business woman myself, and I am only putting this here so that whomever is curious about Julia knows where and when to look for her.

I have no idea what picture she is in the NY signing photos.

I think that Morrissey must respect someone a little who has been to something like 146 of his shows. She also does a service to fans by doing the fanzine- which doesn't exactly hurt him...and I think he also must feel a tiny bit of pity for someone to do what she does. That is just my opinion though.

I have a feeling if I ever met Julia, I wouldn't like her. But that is just my intuition. She may be the first woman to ever win my love as well! But I doubt it...

you know folly you are one sad git

Does this really make much difference ? What a carry on. You
are all really arguing about these things amongst yourselves. And,
to be honest, I don't think that this is doing anyone any good.

Whatever anyone has done, there is always some good in them,
however badly they have acted or behaved. There is always some hope
for all of us.

My honest mesage to you all is to go and think carefully
why you are posting this things. Surely, non of this is important
- go and cut the grass or some thing. What is important, is to appreciate what a wonderful web site we really have here.

Sad 'Git' response...

I have no idea what a 'git' is...I will guess at that later. But I thoroughly agree that this site is a blessing, and all the crap must come to an end if we are all to be better people about it. I never mean any harm, but I do say some things that seem to bother others; it is a sad case in my life.

I honestly was just posting info on Julia that I personally knew, and knew that out of all of the thousands that come in here not everyone would be pleased by it. I meant nothing by it, really. But as usual, you can't please everyone all the time, and I don't intend to. I just say what comes up in myself as sensitively, and sometimes insensitively, as I possibly can. It isn't all meant to decorate those pretty little heads with roses, sage and thyme! You just have to take this kind of open forum with that proverbial grain o' salt. What exists can't be shut down due to our little constitution. I honestly see no reason to do that either. These are just the things that create choices that we have to make: should I check out David's site today or skip it? I never do.

Re: Sad 'Git' response...

Maybe you don't mean any harm, but if you can step back for just a moment: don't you think that it's rather unnecessary of you to declare any number of things about someone whom you don't personally know and haven't personally met? What ever is the point? You just get the feeling you wouldn't like Julia *if* you met her? A thoroughly inexperienced opinion. Which you're entitled to. But my larger point is, why share it? Why do you think anyone cares? If you haven't taken the time to meet Julia and get to know her, why take the time to form an opinion?

Re: Whittering is whittering is whittering

A 'git' is from illigit and thus bastard.

I share it because the forum is available- all the same, you are correct in what you find offensive about my post- I take back what I said. I apologize to Julia, even though I could care less. But I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, and I should have said nothing in the first place, months ago!

I didn't know I had to post here ONLY when someone ACTUALLY cares that I do! Oh my! Suzanne, Mimi, LMC, and most importantly, Greasetea- we are all doomed. I think we were ALL under the assumption that they all CARED!

I have never met Julia, not to say I wouldn't want to. It just isn't a priority when I am at one of the many shows I have attended as well. I also didn't know who she was or anything about her until AFTER the last show I attended- and the way I got info on her was by posting on this board and the people who CARED actually answered my questions! I knew Morrissey was ssaying hello to her, but I didn't know who she was.

Anyway, it isn't as if you CARED or anything! I'm off to guzzle my Diet Coke, and wallow in my newfound misery that no one cares, and hopefully the kiddos will make it all worthwhile now...:::sigh:::

Suzanne, start another story so I might be cheered up!

Well! I never!

> A 'git' is from illigit and thus bastard.

Thank you Cinderella for the info! I am so hurt by someone saying these presumptuous things about me! I just might slosh off this board never to return because of it all!!!

:::shaking head:: nahhh....

Folly...

Shhh, don't tell anyone, but when I was a moderator I gave you a point. I'd tell everyone else who I gave points to but I've forgotten their names...sigh.

LMC x

P.S No-one cares? What?? Right, I'm off to sit in the bath and proceed to drop the toaster in...

Re: Thoughtlessness

You're always doing that, yet you never plug it in, countless times you've ruined perfectly good electrical appliances in this manner!

My head hurts, I have loads of work to do, and somebody keeps being mean to me...(sobbing into my pillow, more out of utter hatred than anything else)
