I openly admit I have never seen her, nor have I ever spoken or written her, but I get bad vibes all around from her and for her. She is a buddhist, but I have heard what she tells people about buddhism, and it doesn't seem like she is knowledgeable about the same buddhism that interests me at all...
She somehow gets herself into the first spot in line by befriending those that have been there (a rumor, none-the-less, I am sure it could be true). She is small, and when she is in 'the pit' Morrissey at least once during all the shows I attended asked if she was alright- I am sure it is recognition as well as the fact that she is so small, and it is so hard to stay in that front area the whole show. But as far as I know, she maganages to do it. Then she proceeds to stand out in front of almost every venue after it is over and pitch her fanzine- which is perfectly respectable. I am a business woman myself, and I am only putting this here so that whomever is curious about Julia knows where and when to look for her.
I have no idea what picture she is in the NY signing photos.
I think that Morrissey must respect someone a little who has been to something like 146 of his shows. She also does a service to fans by doing the fanzine- which doesn't exactly hurt him...and I think he also must feel a tiny bit of pity for someone to do what she does. That is just my opinion though.
I have a feeling if I ever met Julia, I wouldn't like her. But that is just my intuition. She may be the first woman to ever win my love as well! But I doubt it...
