Hi there. Until yesterday, I had not visited this site for a few weeks and I was puzzled to discover all the new security measures. Are we to suppose a visit from HRH may be imminent?
I don't really know what precipitated the changes, but I have to say, I feel this forum has lost a great deal of it's energy and appears to have fallen into a state of complete lethargy.
Being "pleasant" is all well and good, but it can very quickly become nauseating, as every post now seems to consist of the kind of banal drivel that would make a Womens Institute meeting seem positively seditious!
Whatever happened to the very real characters that used to light up the board with anarchic, but very often hilarious results?
It seems that this place has now fallen foul of the modern malaise that is "political correctness", which is simply another form of mind control and just as insidious as fascism itself.
If you are the type of person who enjoys being told what to think, then it seems that this is now the perfect place for you.

This board is turning into the morrisseymusic one more day by day. With vbulletin theyll be identical

Why don't you try Coronation Street, if you are in need of a good drama.

Are you trying to be funny?
If so, it was a very poor attempt.
Don't give up the day job.

What???
I don't have a day job.
I work nights as a backscrubber.

At least now things are calmer, the usernames abuse diminished and we don't have to scroll down endlessly to see a post which is not insulting or totally off-topic.

Re: I'm happy for you. You must be thrilled.

No, I'm as bored as ever. But that's me. Bored and boring.
