Listening to the BBC Radio Collection's 'Julian & Sandy' compilation of Bona entertainment from the two fantabulosa omipaonis, there's a sketch at the end of side 1, I'll call it 'Bona Perfomers' in which the straight man Kenneth Horne is looking for entertainers for a cabaret. Julian and Sandy (aka Hugh Paddick and Kenneth Williams) suggest 'Queenie' who does a 'striptease with a difference'. The difference is that Queenie is normally the bearded lady at Blackpool and has a great beard right down to her ankles. Instead of stripping she just comes on and starts shaving! She can't do it very often as it takes two years to grow the beard again.

Sorry if this is all common knowledge. Anyway, thought it might make you smile.

Really? Is it the sketch where Jules and Sand are homeopathic practitioners?

Jules "Of course we're not medically qualified - we're not recognized by doctors"

Sand "But we're well known round all the all night chemists aren't we Jules?!"

Re: Why, thank you Grim

Thank you grim,

It's nice that I'm appreciated. It really wasn't work though 'cos I was just listening to Jules and Sand as I painted some achitrave and it was a Eureka! moment.

PS: & you're the prince of 'Unreleased Morrissey' tracks.....
