Thank You. A voice of reason. Live Morrissey recordings are far more widely available than Smith's live stuff. So, in many cases, people are comparing a shitty MP3 or live stream of a Moz-solo show and saying "awww, they sound terrible! Nothing like the Smiths." But, all they have ever heard is the STUDIO version of the song in question!
In all my times seeing Morrissey in concert, believe me, the Smiths songs sound GREAT.
