Have they a website? Are they in london any time.. I understand they're pretty good.

Yes they are indeed a worthy tribute....

www.thesecharmingmen.com

They have only ever played in Ireland or the LA Convention.
They have been asked to play in London, but the cost of doing so is prohibiting.
The Goat

Pointless. What are they doing with their lives, trying to live someone else's ?
The same goes for the audience.
All frauds together.
Tonight Matthew, I want to be ........
Pitiful.

Not in this case....

If These Charming Men were a full time act maybe i'd agree with you.
But they are not, they only play a few times a year.
What's the difference between this and say, The Smiths and Morrissey nights that appear all over the place?
The Smiths will never play alive again, but for a few hours every now and then we can 'fantasise' and pretend that they are real (most of us were probably too young to see them anyway), or we can just stick the records on and dance to them in a club.
It's all good fun. Escapism.
Lighten up.
