I found the Big Issue feature on Morrissey a little disappointing. He's on the cover circa "Sunny" and the photo in the article is the same (or similar) as that inside 'Under the Influence'. It appears not to be an interview but it does quote Morrissey, not from the UTI sleevenotes, but maybe froma media release. The cover says 'Exclusive' though, so I don't know what to make of it. Perhaps it was a telephone interview?. There's lots about how Moz loved the New York Dolls - in fact there's more about the Dolls than Smiths. There's no mention of a new contract, or how he looks or behaves - as if the 'interviewer' hadn't met him. Really this is 'The beginner's guide to Morrissey'. Buy it anyway.
