Does anyone have any info on the Smiths bootleg CD called "Thank Your Lucky Stars", issued on Big Music in 1994 (BIG091)? It purports to be from Los Angeles on August 26th 1986. It's a soundboard recording, one of the best that I've heard. Sounds like it's been remixed too. Was that recorded for a purpose?

I don't know whether or not that show was recorded on purpose but, according to the "Passions Just Like Mine" site, there is some speculation that this was actually the 8/28/86 show.

Sorry, but I couldn't cut and paste the info, so please click onto the link below. The list of bootlegs is alphabetized, so just scroll down until you find "Thank Your Lucky Stars."

It's a neat record. It features Marr ("Neandrethal @#!!!in' idiots, these guys") and Moz ("Leave him alone, you stupid idiot") goin' off on security. The liner notes also claim that Johnny had "the most envied haircut of the decade."
