Hi, I have a friend who's not into the smiths, and I've thought about making a cd for him as a formal introduction. He's heard them in the past, but never seemed interested... I doubt he's heard an entire song. So I'm wondering, what would you fill a cd with, to make a mix of songs for a total non fan?
He likes the beatles, syd barrett pink floyd, tom waits, and 60's garage.
If he's heard them in the past and isn't keen, he probably doesn't like the sound of Morrissey's singing voice, which is, well, fair enough! Doesn't matter what songs you give him to listen to.
