How come all these Morrissey/Smiths nights, conventions, b-day celebrations always seem to happen in LA? I live an hour shy of Toronto and nothing Morrissey related seems to happen around here. Are there any Canadian Morrissey fans around? I would love to go to any of those events.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there supposed to be a Smiths/Morrissey night of sorts in St Catherines, ON? I could've sworn I read something about it somewhere (perhaps even here, on this board). If anyone has any info on it, please post it for this poor, lost soul!

Thank you so much for the URL. It seems there is a Morrissey celebration on May 22nd and there was one last year too and I never even knew. Thanks again Rob. After frequenting the message board for some time this was actually my first posting and it looks like it pays off not to be shy.
