if you don't like me etc.

the sad punk
"...there must be somebody else who can take your game aways.."

what a hard hard line to "understand"
any comments on the lyrics of this song?
or maybe my english isn't that good enough to understand it

this is so good:
"if you don't want me, you don't have to have me
i just thought you might feel the same, that's all"

it's bloody time he plays this live once

I think it's "gaze aways". Like saying there must be somebody else who is more worthy of the person Morrissey is talking to's attention.

I heard it, and still do as "...there must be somebody else who can take your game and ways.."

But I could well be totally wrong.

It's "There must be somebody else who can take your gaze a ways."

Instead of merely taking it "away" from Morrissey; Moz wants somebody to take it a ways -- a long distance away. That choice of words, in my opinion, makes the narrator/Moz less passive about the person who "may not like" him. He does not merely suggest that someone else can interest the person; but that he/she should take that gaze of theirs a long distance away from him.
