NOW it would be "Dave Allen GOES Large"? He sadly died of alcohol related illness.
He comedy was some times religous: "What ever God you support my he look after you" he said words to that effect at the end of one of his acts!!

Sadly, we will all die of some related illness.

He packed up the ciggies years ago.
However, not the whiskey.

Maybe he couldn't or maybe he shouldn't.

Maybe, just maybe, he didn't care for it any longer.

Allen was a genius. I don't know if it was the gargle that killed him, but he is a sad loss.

"Goodnight, and may your God go with you"....

Re: "What ever God you support may he go with you".

Who is the third who walks always beside you?
When I count, there are only you and I together
But when I look ahead up the white road
There is always another one walking beside you
Gliding wrapt in a brown mantle, hooded
I do not know whether a man or a woman
—But who is that on the other side of you?
