Can anyone recommend a decent Morrissey book? Which is the best?

Rogan's effort was painfully drab and endlessly tiresome on the eyes.

Simpson's fawning adolescent diary is barely worth the paper it's written on.

Which is the best morrissey book? Is there a single decent Morrissey book out there?

Mmmm. Not sure if you mean Moz solo or including The Smiths.

I think you have to start with "The Severed Alliance" to get a feel of how it all started.Sorry Moz.

"Songs That Saved Your Life" would be next and then I think Jo Slee's "Peepholism" is excellent.

"Saint Morrissey" by Mark Simpson I enjoyed but is probably not essential.
"Landscapes Of The Mind" I found nothing new in and I haven't yet got round to reading Brets follow up(the awfully named) "Scandal And Passion".

I'd also give a ittle mention to "All Men Have Secrets" which just glows with stories of love and warmth.
