Boz's update

October 12th - hi
wow - It's been longer than I thought!
I thought I had done an update since my return to the states!
So we arrived in Washington and the next day we had a production rehearsal in the venue - a very fine looking hall near the White House. The show was a sell out and afterwards I got to meet up with Thommy and Nancy Burns and the rest of the band that used to be The Atomics.Nnancy actually took the photo on the front page of this site in Washington a good few years ago. The next day we drove to Philly and with a day off I spent a pleasant evening in my friend Robert's bar, "Tattooed mom's" on South Street. I was there a few years back on its opening night and I received a roulette chip which entitles me to half price beer for life! Saves me a lot of money in philly!
The two shows at the tower were fun, I hadn't realisewd the venue was actually in Upper Darby just outside philly . After the second show we all had a few beers in a bar called Cheers by the venue before we headed up to Boston, where on another day off I managed to do laundry and check out one of the stores on Mass Ave by Harvard square. We stayed right near the Orpheum so I didn't get out too much but there's about a million squirrels in the park there.
So after the second show we headed down to New York. The next show was in Asbury Park right on the sea front, like being in Briddlington or Blackpool again. Show was pretty wild and due to the number of people on the stage it had a slightly earlier finish. Then we drove back into New York. Lyn had flown in that evening with Billie Rose so I was eager to see them . The next day I spent in the studio in New York doing some remixing for a forthcoming b side. The next two days were the shows at Radio City , another lovely place! Lots of friends turned up through out the 2 nights, great to hook up with everybody, thanks for making the effort, much appreciated! So we left after the show for an uneventful drive up to Toronto, where I am now , writing this!
cheers
