Andy Rourke wasn't just really cool good-looking. He is also a cool bass player, DJ, song writer, singer and can probably play other intraments as well. "Get Off The Stage", "Girl Least Likly To" and "Yes I am Blind" show a genious song writer at work. The Morrissey/Rourke songs are far better than the Morrissey/Marr songs that there should be more of them about. I expect Morrissey and Rourke were close buddys, they were on stage in Morrissey solo. Andy Rourke has no ego and doesn't like to blow his own trumpet so you will not hear Andy Rourke saying how great he is.

Wow, I didn't know that he co-wrote those songs. And Girl Least Likely is one of my favourites songs! Damn, he's got more intelligence than I gave him credit for. And I formed that opinion after meeting him.

i've never heard him sing, although i know he plays the cello, and did so on "Oscillate Wildly" and "Rubber Ring".
