Here's an attempt to come up with an equally strong 18 track Best Of compilation for the HMV/Parlophone years - featuring none of the songs on the official release.

It was surprisingly easy to do - and I left off several favourites - which I suppose shows the incredible quality of the songs of this period. It'd be interesting to see what anyone else can come up with...
