Can I ask, are you afraid of flying?
We are going on the Sunday from Liverpool - Berlin (£74 with Easy Jet), train to Hamburg and then Hamburg to Dublin (0.01 cent + tax with Ryan Air!!!) and Dublin to Manchester (£20 with Ryan Air).
Total cost is £105 per person + train fare.
Having driven once from Manchester to Hamburg and back it is a bloody long way. We went on a coach and it was sore arses all around (and not for any sexual activity before anyone suggests!) Minimum you will be setting out Saturday morning and returning Tuesday / Wednesday. Imagine it will cost around £200 - £250 in petrol and ferry, wear and tear of the car + you will be knackered when you get there!
Take the strain off yourself and join us on the plane!
