I was selling a couple of bootlegs on eBay. Stuff I had bought in Camden, London. After some days my items were removed by eBay because of the violation of The Unauthorized Copies Policy. Someone had reported to eBay my stuff as "irregular".
And this can be absolutely right.
What surprises me is that the same stuff that was removed from my list, it's more or less sold by other people. And these other people are selling it without problems.
EBay told me that as a company they start an investigation as soon as someone reports "irregular" stuff to them.
Now I am wondering why I am reported while others can do what they want. Is there a Godfather who allows to do so? 10 years ago I remember one guy who didn't allow anyone else to sell Moz bootleg and still Internet was not popular....
I don't make money with eBay and I don't care selling live gigs. I had some and put them online. But I don't like what happened....
