There was a great show on not too long ago where a woman had converted some old Victorian London communal toilets that were underground and she converted them into an amazing flat, it was mint.
 
560 sq ft is WAY too small. Count me in for something large, modern and in So Cal. Voila:

If you flick through the pics it shows just how delapadated it was and then the result after!

I remember this being featured in the LAT design section a few months ago, the gold bathroom is a bit much but they did a nice job.

On the one FER picked, beautiful furniture and house, the seating area doesn't make practical sense. The pillows say "lean back and relax" but where are you supposed to put your head?

My hobby is imagining sitting in these rooms. :o
