I love Interlude and bought the 7" new for around £4 a few years ago. I love Morrissey and attend his concerts whenever he comes to Ireland. I have all his albums on CD and vinyl. At the real risk of redundancy and consignment to the phantom-zone oblivion of off-topic I was more excited to see Suede Autofiction Live released on grey vinyl for RSD, Siouxsie's Nocturne on 2LP black, and OMD Bauhaus Staircase instrumentals. However, the best release recently wasn't an RSD...

Especially at €30 or whatever daft price it was.

Me neither. My original LP with proper artwork sounds great. I don't see the point in throwing money at this release just cos it's an orange vinyl. If it had original artwork and extra songs (e.g. a few from a different concert from that era) I might buy it. I guess if I didn't have the original...

Maybe but that's like cutting your arm off and taking a photo of the bloody stump. It might be raw but it makes for a shite album cover.

Happy that Moz has taken back his albums. Here's hoping they get released properly, even if it is self-released. The concert fans would lap them up at the merch bar. Why kowtow to braindead record labels?

Nick Cave - lucid, honest, intelligent, unwavering except to his own inner forces, and reigning supreme with a string of brilliant albums such as Ghosteen and Carnage. Of course I've preordered his upcoming album Wild God. A Cave-Moz duet would be the next best thing to a Brett Anderson/Moz...

I have the vinyl from back in the day and the photos (cover and gatefold) were taken from the concert. Why ruin the re-issue with a photo taken decades later with a different band. How can Warners be so stupid? The newer cover makes Moz look cranky and confused.

One day goodbye will be farewell. I have the Years Of Refusal LP spinning and I have to say it's a great record and an underrated record. There isn't one dud track on it.
