I did my jobsearch as per usual (applied to a few of jobs), but then, after lunch, I decided to tackle the 6 month old pile of mail that had built up in my 'in-tray' (dumping ground). It's always very cleansing to do that, and it proved especially amusing when 2/3 of it turned out to be rubbish only fit for shredding.

This made me feel quite freshened and positive. Then I decided to have a warble for the first time in ages, and listened to "Strangeways" for this purpose.

I also changed my bed, and will be demoting the cover that was on there to the domain of 'guest material', because it is so associated with my London adventure that I can no longer bring myself to even look at it.

So, yes, I've felt a lot more positive today. I guess yesterday was the rock bottom and now it's time to just get on with it, go to the dole office and attempt to put in motion the wheels of my justified recompense of a pittance.

I don't LIKE being on the dole, but it's a practical necessity, since I have to go back to square one, as it were, a la 2 years ago and start again.

But no biggie.
