You're the One for me, fatty

--All over Battersea
Some hope; and some despair
All over Battersea
Some hope; and some despair
Oh ... --

I like this song, think it's sweet.
But, Why quoted this place-name "Battersea"?

I don't understand what it meant, since I'd never lived in U.K and my ignorance on trait of region in England.
Are there represent something on "Battersea"?

Promise you'll say if I'm ever in your way

I think Morrissey might have lived there in the early 90's.
Battersea is in South London just over the river from Victoria.
One of London's landmarks is the old Battersea Power station.
The song's video was filmed in Battersea too.
Battersea is just up the road from Vauxhall.
Thers is a dogs home in Battersea.
The picture of Moz on inner sleeve of Bona Drag is taken near Battersea Power station.

Have I missed anything?

Morrissey lived in/near Battersea i think.

Not sure about this: to my knowledge Morrissey always lived NORTH of the river. Certainly the early 90s were his Camden/Primrose Hill years.

Battersea is also a location used in Up The Junction, so it might be a kitchen sink thingimmy?

South Londoner Charlie Richardson was on the inside cover of Your Arsenal.
