spectral hand

all mouth and no trousers
So today, of course, I went to buy "The Youngest Was The Most Loved", and bought each of the three formats in a separate transaction, on the off chance that doing so might count as more sales (for chart purposes) than buying them all at the same time. The woman at the cash register looked at me like I was insane when I kept reappearing at the counter with a different version of the same record.

Anyway, I thought it was weird that Virgin here in Brighton had the 7", but HMV (the one in Churchill Square) didn't. HMV did, however, have about 20 copies each of the Irish Blood and First of the Gang 12" singles.

I didn't buy the 12"s ... I thought about it, but it just seems a bit silly. I used to be a completist, but really, why? My only thought was that they are quite limited in number, and may go up a lot in value over the coming years.

What do you think? Should I go back and buy them tomorrow?

it is silly for you to trouble yourself with such trivial matters.
