All of the Inspiral Carpets BBC sessions have recently been released on a special radio sessions CD, I highly recommend it. Where we only had the 4 track peel sessions (Out Of Time, Direcing Traffic, Keep The Circle Around, Gimme Shelter) now all 20 or so tracks that they put down for the BBC at various points in their career are available.
Billy Bragg peel sessions includes that old Smiths gem 'Jeane', but there is plenty more they will appeal to Morrissey fans on here. This is hard to find nowadays though.
Gang Of Fours peel sessions of songs which would feature on the legendary 'Entertainment' LP are awesome, but avoid later material, they lost it in a big way.
Microdisney (Rough Trade stablemates with The Smiths) their peel sessions collects a range of hilarously funny, witty, and thought provoking songs.
The Only Ones peel sessions, great musicianship on this album, and anyone who is familiar with the genius lyrics of Peter Perrett will second recommend this band.
The Specials peel sessions - fantastic alternative versions of Concrete Jungle, Gangsters, and a much better rendition of Stereotype.
Magazine - Their peel sessions can be found on the 'Maybe Its Right To Be Nervous Now' box set priced approx £15 includes rare B Sides and other hard to find gems. And I'm sure I don't need to stress the influence they had on Moz.
Also look out for The Undertones, The Buzzcocks and as we've said The Ruts peel sessions.
Some great stuff listed here, but unfortunetly most of these albums have been deleated so its one for the second hand shops and specialist mail order places on the net.
