"Strangeways", "Queen is Dead" and "Meat is Murder" tie for first, "the Smiths" finishes a CLOSE second!
I'd say "Queen is Dead" is actually the STRONGEST album start-to-finish, but "Strangeways" and "Meat is Murder" each contain my VERY FAVE Smiths tracks ("That Joke", "Stop Me", "Last Night I Dreamt", "Headmaster Ritual", "Rush and a Push", "Barbarism"), so it's TOUGH TO CALL ...
And the 1st album has "What Difference" and "Reel Around the Fountain" ... SO MANY GREAT SONGS, and like most great bands, the very best ones aren't even singles ...
