Did anyone else see this just now on BBC3? I missed the first half, what Smiths/Moz songs did they do?

Jesus had "You're gonna need someone on your side" as an opener, and Judas murdered "Heaven Knows...."

And two very long versions of Robbie Williams' "Angels" was three too many!

It is repeated on BBC2 at 11pm anyway... Tim Booth looks like death warmed up.

Anyone any idea why the main song was Robbie Williams' Angels? I know Take That were from Manchester but he's from Stoke I think. Just found a well known enough song to keep the mainstream watching?

Ummmmm... maybe he wrote a bit of it on a train passing through Manchester?

yeah & why was the Buzzcocks only an instrumental?

oh & they shudda got Heather Small to play Mary eh.

Thanks, I will look at 11. Jesus singing YAGNSOYS, whatever next?

It was very good, loads better than I expected.
The only let down was that dreadful Robbie Williams song!

Robbie Williams is from Stoke-on-Trent.
