I just paid $2.80 per gallon. I think that is equivalent to $0.74 per liter, which is 1.55 pounds per gallon or 0.41 pounds per liter.

(if all my conversions are right)

It's at 103.9 (CDN) cents per litre right now. And I'm in the heart of oil country! What gives?

Sign me up for public transit.

$2.49 a gallon!!
There's about 33 gallons per barrel which is going for about $65 so anything over $1.97 is mostly profit. NJ is one of those rare states where there is full service so there profit margin isn't as much. Some states where there isn't full serve Gas is over $3 so that's almost a dollar per gallon profit.

From what I heard on some talky program, the "expert" said it costs the Saudi's less than $2.00 a barrel to produce it.

When there is no competition in the market, the seller sets the price however they choose to.

We are paying $2.65 per gallon at the cheapest place here. The most expensive place is $2.75.

"Here" is in the South, but miles away from Texas! I'm about 3 hours from Atlanta.

A bit over $3.08 last time I checked.

As usual we are getting robbed soft. We pay approx £6.00 per gallon, is that around 10 dollars?

€1.05 per litre - daylight robbery(and thats the cheapest I can get it)

Thats €4.77 per gallon ($5.85 or £3.24) plus another €800 - €1,000 each year on road tax and insurance. So you have it easy, believe me.

As we know mozrebel they declare war on all nations that possess oil to have it EASY?

How long will that last?

Thick American gas guzzlers.

No a 3 litre car is NOT THE WORLD!!!
You are no bigger, brighter nor worthy of life on the planet because your car guzzles up more oil than Jed Clampett can provide.

Who could care less...apart from you lot obviously.

SELFISH UP THEIR OWN ARSES?

Who said that then.

Believe me American gas guzzlers you are in for a rude awakening.

Go you have Giant Eagle grovery stores in your area? They also have gas stations called GetGo. For every 50 bucks you spend on food at Giant Eagle, you get 10 cents off per gallon at GetGo. Some people (who buy tons of food for large families) have actually filled up their cars for, like, 90 cents per gallon! I haven't gotten it nearly that low, but it's a way to get around the price increases.

I think other big stores are getting in on this sort of idea too, so look around! It's driving the independant gas stations insane though! Might put em out of business.

Anyway, I'm finally glad I have a boring lil Toyota.

Go = do, and grovery = grocery.
