Girlfriend loves Morrissey; I don't

Hey all Morrissey fans. I posted here last time and got some good responses. I am still having problems with my girlfriend. She really really loves Morrissey to the point of obsession. Unfortunately, she won't listen to the music I like because she only listens to Smiths and Morrissey. I like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Guns n Roses and good music. She only likes that Morrissey garbage. Can anyone recommend a band or a singer that we BOTH can enjoy? This could help save our relationship. Thanks!
 
I suggest that you jump off a cliff and let the vultures eat away at your sorry flesh. You obviously have little or maybe no taste at all, why she is still with you I have no idea. Nevertheless, I wouldn't worry about it, she will most likely leave you soon I bet she is just pondering on how to do it. So until then just go out and sit in your outhouse where you belong.

You have pretty tragic taste in music, boy. Let's see if we can think of an artist who combines brainless macho headbangin' with sensitive introspection, humour and musical innovation .... hmmmmmmm. The Beasties? Morphine?

Limp Bizkit? "Morrissey garbage"?
There is no hope for either you or your relationship with your girlfriend. God help her.
 
It's amazing how stupid Morrissey fans are. This guy simply wants to know what other music a "Moron"ssey fan would listen to. Clearly this simple question is too complicated for your simple mind. To be able to judge somebody by a simple email message, to tell somebody to "jump off a cliff" is rude. I bet your a racist too. I wouldn't ask you to jump of a cliff because it would be a waste of valuable medical resources to peel your lame carcus of the rocks.

My brother and I fight over the same issue every time we get in the car. Although he does not like Guns n Roses...
why don't you try the Damned?

I like Ozzy too, but you're jumping over the boundaries here. This is the guy who asked us how to get into his girlfriends pants. And we gave him some advice that he didn't use then and won't use now.

Your right. I was harsh, but I "strongly" believe Matt's initial comment about getting into her pants was a joke, but had an uderlying question. These forums should be to generate conversation about Morrissey (or whatever site the forum is on). His first post had a legitimate question, regardless of his poor timing in humor.

A lot of Morrissey fans seem to like bad gloomy gothpop like Depeche Mode and the Cure and Bauhaus. Maybe Korn fans like that stuff too.

It's not bad. It's quite good. And I don't know many Korn fans who have even heard of Depeche Mode or the Cure. It's too much for their small little minds to handle.
Anyway, I can't really be of help on this because I like DM, the Cure, R.E.M., Tori, Leonard Cohen, 10,000 Maniacs (w/ Natalie), and other stuff Korn and Limp Bizkit fans wouldn't touch.

i agree, some of you folks should be hauled off to the looney bin...do as i do and worship on your very own..no need to be militant about the whole thing
