Gary Day In and Out

Does anybody know why Gary Day keeps going in and out of Morrissey's band? If he was fired, why did he get rehired but then fired again?

Gary played with Morrissey from 1991 until he was fired 1994. He was re-hired in 1999 for the Oye Esteban tour.

Yes ! He was fired by Morrissey for living the rock and roll lifestyle.Booze and groupies.Moz turned a blind eye for a while but eventually had enough.

The fact that Gaz got back was down to one man and one man only.Martin Boorer.

He spoke to Gaz and told him if he mended his ways then Morrissey would take him back.

Martin then spoke to Morrissey and gave his some assurances that Gaz would be a changed man.
