The guitar playing is decent - but his voice is below average. When he didn't hit the last high notes and ruined the climax of the song I was truly disappointed.

i love this guys voice. havent listened to the songs yet though. i need new computer speakers

It probably makes more sense if you're a fan of The Decemberists. They way he sings his owns songs is pretty amazing/unique, although I can see his vocal stylings/strong accent can be an acquired taste.

the singer might be good with his own band(haven't heard them) but his voice doesn't go with the morrissey songs. it sounds off... my 2 cents..
