I knew Morrissey was playing Brum but I'm surprized that he is playing the NIA which is a pretty big venue.

I would have though places like The Academy (2002) or Aston Villa Leisure Centre (1995) would have been better more venues.

The NIA is a smaller version of the Manchester MEN.Its easy to find in the heart of Brums nitelife just off Broad Street.

Is it as big as the M.E.N?
Does it allow so many standing.
Only the M.E.N was murder, for woman anyway!

Birmingham NIA capacity

There is a bit on NIA website that mentions 4,500 capacity - dunno if I'm looking at the right bit though (something about Cliff Richard). Lets hope that's all it is!

I read on I think it was Morrissey-Tour site that it holds 4,500 if its an all seater event, but up to 12,000 otherwise...which doesn't sound good.
