Dear Julia:
This portion of the press release from August 22nd is unclear about whether this "season pass" was for all 15 dates combined at the Hammerstein and Palladium or for just one city for each ticket:
"A 'season ticket' will be made available in both cities, eliminating all surcharges for any fans attending every show, which will provide a savings of over $50 in itself."
My understanding was that the season ticket was one per city. If so, then the August 22nd press release is erroneous/misleading about the surcharge elimination because there was a $96 "convenience" surcharge for the 10 date Palladium package.
Since the August 22nd press release also states that "[s]tarting at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 27, through 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, special 10-night packages will be available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and via Ticketmaster charge-by-phone" and the Palladium package actually went on sale on Saturday, August 25, perhaps the surcharge break only applies to those who purchase AFTER 10 am on Monday, August 27th?
The Palladium package is only available via the ticketmaster.com (not by telephone) at this time and only to those with US billing addresses. Will this change come Monday, August 27th? Fans who who would cross oceans to see Morrissey are upset at not being able to get tickets because of the Palladium package policy of having no choice in method of delivery, barring international customers.

MESSAGE FROM MORRISSEY.
I would like to stress to members of TTY that the recent quotes on NME.com attributed to me concerning "retirement" and "final concerts" were not made by me, and that the NME are wrong to put my name next to these quotes.
Furthermore, I would like to stress that my knowledge and involvement with "season tickets" and ticket prices for the upcoming shows is zero, and I have nothing at all to do with the way by which tickets are sold or priced. People who think I am involved in that side of the presentation overestimate me - I actually have pitifully short legs - there's only so much I can do.
Thanks to those of you who have bought tickets, and thanks to those even considering coming along. With so many US concerts this year your loyalty has already been over-stretched, so if you decide to pass, that's OK.

Does anyone know if these are individual tickets you are getting when you buy this package or just some kind of badge. I wanted to be able to gift some of the tickets to people for some of the shows but that wouldn't be possible if its one badge. I can't seem to get an answer out of Ticketmaster. Anyone have any better info? thanks
