Morrissey returns to California - The Scenestar According to promoter Bulldog Productions, Morrissey will be playing at El Foro in Tijuana on September 20. Ticket prices will range from $30 to $75 for VIP tickets. Tickets will be sold via http://www.ticketmaster.com.mx and the sale date should be announced within the next few weeks. --- Travis Corona sends the link: http://myspace.com/bulldogproductionsmexico --- Torr also sends info on the El Foro venue, there are pix of it too: This is the main closed venue in Tijuana, is very small, in its former life it was a Jai Alai (Basque ball) and the court is now the stage area, so you can imagine that the acoustic and visual characteristics are not the best. The better part is that you get to sit at tables like a dinner-show at a casino and you are not very far from the stage. There is a bar service going on during the concerts so you enjoy your drinks along good songs. The place is located on Av. Revolución the heart of the touristic area in Tijuana, around are all the big nightclubs, table dance and bars, also you can find good restaurants just a couple of blocks from the venue. A taxi ride to the hotel zone is just under 15 minutes. --- An anonymous person writes: I work at the Fillmore, and showed up last night to discover that Morrissey was written into the September calendar-not once but FOUR NIGHTS! September 23, 24, 26, and 27. I literally fell on the floor. But don't completely get your hopes up-yet. They've been trying to get him there or the Warfield for a couple years, and he always bails out. I'm told that's it's damn near confirmed though!

Do you really want to be at the same show as these sad motherlickers eating their dinner in the middle of the show with a glass of wine? There was another venue like this on the tour in Atlanta GA, 20th July recently and Moz hated it and made comments about people eating meat while he was doing the show. I can't see Morrissey wanting this again. Read aftershow link below.
