I'm almost sure you can do better than that.

The video included on the limited edition of ROTT was the making of, whereas this one is the final edited version (without the candid footage). I prefer the making of.

I noticed Bucky chose not intercut the 70s audience footage used You Have Killed Me, which leaves the announcer's brilliant performance sort of hanging...

  • Alain Whyte on Drums (Score:3, Informative)

I asked Alain about his drumming in the videos and he laughed and said he was just faking it for the videos as they had no official drummer at that time. He hadn't really played the drums since he was 15 and in an old Boz Boorer band called The RugCutters.

    Cheers,

  • He looks better in this video than he has in years and years... The make-up helps I suppose. They really seemed to downplay the grey hair with lighting (or maybe dye).

Of course, I really like the song and think it maybe could've been a solid hit, had he left out the "I thank you with all my heart" parts. It doesn't need it, and it doesn't really fit in. He must have had some better filler lyrics kicking around.

Anyway... Always good to see him, even if the videos are always completely uninspired, especially compared to almost everyone elses videos. In the world of Morrisey however, it suits us fine.

  • This is one of the worst videos ever made. Why does he keep putting out this type of crap video, which are never played anyway? I understand sanctuary gives him a shit budget, but I could produce a better video with $5,000. Besides the fact that the song is not good enough to warrent a video...why put one out if its gonna suck.

  • I love his trademark whipping of the mic cord, also the hand gestures, especially at the end of the song "a long.....sleeep"....with mic in hand.

In the making of he looks like hes really having a good time- love it when he smiles.

Also enjoyed on you tube "Life is a Pigsty" -- cannot WAIT to see that live. When are they coming to U.S.?!!
